Why social work?

 Good afternoon dear colleagues, I wonder if any of you were faced with the dilemma of studying "something that generates a lot of money", even if you don't like it at all; and studying something that you really like, but doing it "you will starve to death". In my case it was like that, I was never good at mathematics, no matter how hard I tried I was not good at it. However, I really enjoyed the humanistic area, so as time went by I chose to dedicate myself to that area. In the country, the only humanistic career that is "well paid" is law, so studying that seemed like a good option to me; however, the only reason was money. As time went by, I decided to study what had always caught my attention, social work, and although in the country it is not paid according to its relevance, I prefer to live doing something I like, than doing something just for money.
